Britney Spears: She's A Baby, You Know

Is the world being too hard on Britney Spears with her on-again, off-again rehab tries, bald choices and apparent melt-down?

The Late Late Show, host Craig Ferguson said he understands and exclaimed on TV, "She's a baby, you know".

Considering Ferguson's own battle with alcoholism which he is conquering and assuming Britney has a similar problem, the issues are potent.

Should pundits and comedians draw a line?  If so, where and when should the line be drawn?   

You would almost have to possess a heart of stone to not feel for the pain of Britney Spears and Ferguson did a real service to her and to the public by describing his own problem and exhaling about his own concerns of going over the top on Britney.

Yes, Britney has behaved like trailer-park trash.  Yes, she has some kind of problem.  Yes, she might be under the influence.  And yes, let's give her a break since she is young and has too much to give despite her own personal mishaps and impulses.

And, yes, she is a baby.  In her mid-twenties, she has seen more of the world than many of us will ever.  And, now, she is feeling the pain.

So, while the jokes should continue, the speculations not be shelved, there is a certain critical reflection we should have within ourselves.

Has she harmed anyone by her statements?  Has she been mean-spirited in her actions?

She is a baby.  She needs our help.  She has many of our best wishes and hopes she makes something decent with her life and be a positive role model to our youth.  They need one desperately.

Positive Model to the Youth?  Wait a minute, when I see other girls Shaving there head for Britney Spears Then I will think it just might be possible.

And on another note.  It gets kind of Sick that Britney had to Shave he Head to actually get this Much Drama... Wasn't she making enough money before this all started happening?
