Introduction to Pai Gow Poker- Pai Gow Poker is a poker game which is played using the combination of Pai Gow Poker. It is a very interesting form of play.

In pai gow poker the dealer deals seven cards to each player. Each player arrange them into two hands, one hand of five cards which is known as "high hand" and the other hand must consist of two hand which is known as "low hand".

Dealer also receives the seven cards and arrange them as high hand and low hand same as of each player.

The high hand must have the higher values then low hand.

You bet for both of your hands on both of the dealer's hands.

Difference Between other poker games and Pai Gow Poker game-

1.In Pai Gow poker the slightly different combination of cards are used. Pai Gow uses a deck of 53 cards. The 53rd card is a joker, or Wild Card. The joker can only be used as an ace, or to complete three hand combinations: a Straight, a Flush, or a Straight Flush.

2.Another important difference in Pai Gow, is that if a player's hand and the dealer's hand produce the same value, the result is NOT a push. The dealer wins the bet.

Pai Gow Poker Hand-

The only two-card Pai Gow hands are one pair and high cards.

Five-card hands use standard poker hand rankings with one exception: in most Nevada casinos, the hand A-2-3-4-5 ranks above a king-high straight, but below the ace-high straight A-K-Q-J-10. At most casinos in California and Michigan this rule doesn't apply; the A-2-3-4-5 is the lowest possible straight.

The joker plays as a bug, that is, in the five-card hand it can be used to complete a straight or flush if possible; otherwise it is an ace. In the two-card hand it always plays as an ace, except in several southern Californian casinos where the joker is completely wild.
