Playing the craps![]() Navigation: Main page » Gambling Information Author: jessy jones
Objective of the game
The objective of craps is to predict if the dice will be thrown in a winning combination. Each round of the game can be divided into 2; the come out roll section; and the point section.
Rules to play the craps game
Rule 1: When you get to the table online or off line, each player has an opportunity to throw the pair of dice; the person whose throwing is known as the shooter.
Rule 2: When rolling the dice it is essential that they hit the far wall of the table. The first throw that a shooter throws is called a come out roll; the result of this come out roll will set the tone from this point on.
Rule 3: There are three possible outcomes of the come out roll; a 7 or 11, known as a 'natural', will result in a win for anyone with a bet on the pass line; a 2, 3 or 12 will result in a loose for anyone with a bet on the pass line, a roll of any of these numbers is known as 'craps'. These results are inverted for a no pass bet. Rule 4: Any other number than these five will set the point for that shooter. In order that the shooter can win, that number has to be rolled again, before a 7 is rolled.
Rule 5: A successful roll of the point number results in an even money win on a pass line bet; if the 7 appears before the point, a pass line bet is lost.
Rule 6: The shooter remains the shooter until he looses to the 7, which means that if the point is met on the second roll, he will have another come out roll; this will continue until he looses on the point.
