Axia fans are a propeller-type fan that is familiar to many people. It is not unlike the fans used in homes to cool down space. These fans are often connected directly to their motors. Axia fans can be found in three categories. The first is propeller fans. These are used to move a large air volume against very low or no pressure. The second type is the tube axia fan. This has a propeller that is encased in the duct section. The last type is the vane-axia fan. This fan uses what are known as straightening fins. They convert circular air motion into straight air motion. These fans seem to be the most efficient. This is because the direction of airflow is not changed much as it goes through the fan.

Axia fans can have the pitch of their blades, adjustable, fixed, or variable. Fixed blades are used for constant volume and low efficiency fans. Adjustable pitch means that blades can be adjusted manually to change the flow of air. This is great for safety and efficiency. Variable pitch blades can be adjusted while spinning. This is done with electric or pneumatic actuators. You get great volume without having to change the speed. You need to make sure that the mechanism that controls blade pitch is maintained as it is vital for correct and safe operation.

Many companies are changing over to the use of axia fans. There are many advantages available when these fans are used. They are extremely efficient and cut down significantly on overall cost. They are versatile in where they can sit or be mounted. This is often an issue in industrial and work settings.

Axia fans are a lot more environmentally friendly than other traditional heating and cooling methods. These fans are being made by more and more companies every day. They are beginning to realize the benefits that axia fans can offer people.
